Our campus is extremely rich in biodiversity and is often referred to as the zero-carbon campus. The entire land is filled with greenery, flora, and fauna of several kinds and has beautiful and serene sceneries to witness. Various migratory birds are often seen on the campus, making activities like bird watching all the more exhilarating.
The aim is to lead to a nature-centric development of students. Several activities are carried out to enable the same such as organic farming, bird watching, planting trees, soil testing, and so on. These activities are fun to attend and create awareness about the sustainable practices that help in nurturing the environment.
Furthermore, staying close to nature has many benefits – it helps in experiencing and boosting feelings of joyousness, calmness, peace and etc. – reducing the chances of physical and mental health problems. We strive for our students to harness these benefits as well as grow into a community that has love and empathy towards the environment and becomes responsible citizens of the Earth that follow sustainable practices.
