Spiritual development is an integral part of the overall development and learning of students. Practicing spirituality is critical as it leads to the development of one’s inner self. To develop our students more spiritually, havans are organized on the school campus and on special occasions. A havan is a sacred ritual in which an offering is made to the fire – a sacred symbol in various religions. The sacred fire purifies the surroundings as well as the individuals, leaving their aura clean and positively energized.
Spirituality is the link between human consciousness and cosmic consciousness, helping a person understand the connection between them and the universe. To deepen the spiritual development of our students, Anant School of Excellence conducts prayers every morning and at the end of the day along with the recitation of the ‘OM’ mantra three times. This signifies the essence of ultimate reality, consciousness, or Atman. Students also recite various mantras like the Gayatri mantra, Ganpati mantra, Saraswati mantra, etc. which brings them closer to God and themselves.
